5 Secrets to a Healthier YOU in 2024

3/1/2024

The start of a new year gives you a clear “Point A” and the end of the year gives you a clear “Point B”. Each year becoming a segment of time in the grand scheme of your entire life. Why is this important? You can use the bite-size chunks to see, plan for, and measure your progress in a way that does not overwhelm or make you feel like you have to do so much, especially without knowing what you want way far into the future.

2024's Point A gives you a tangible fresh start and of course, HEALTH is something I believe to be your MAIN ASSET. Without it, there is no life.

So what are some vital things you can add to your monthly, weekly, and even daily routines this year?

  1. Mindful Focus on Your Health: Redirect your focus towards fostering good health rather than frantically steering clear of disease. A state of well-being allows you the freedom to pursue your aspirations without physical limitations and constraints. Make time for wellness checkups and check ins with us and take advantage of the valuable resources and knowledge that I have accumulated over many hours of study, experience, and colleague case study discussions. Actively and mindfully focusing on your health will produce a healthy outcome. Guaranteed.

  2. Listen to Your Body: Your body often communicates its needs before symptoms manifest. Don't wait for a crisis; instead, tune in to what your body is telling you as soon as symptoms arise. Remember, by the time something actually shows itself to you, it has more than likely been brewing for some time. Communicating anything and everything with me can help me to guide and support you through the secret language of symptoms and hopefully it will teach you how to recognize the signs on your own.

  3. Invest in Your Health: Recognize that health is an investment, not an expense. A lot of times I hear people say to me “it’s expensive to eat healthy.” But it is far more expensive in the long run to eat junk. We just can’t see it now because nothing hurts or we are not pending a major surgery. By prioritizing your well-being, you're laying the foundation for a life of ease rather than dis-ease or disease.

  4. Personalized Approach to Care: My philosophy has always centered on treating the person, not just the disease entity. Treating the disease entity would be like wiping away the oil that is leaking from your car continuously as opposed to fixing the actual leak. It’s important, vital even, to get to the root of your health issue and to maintain wellness WHILE YOU ARE WELL so that more costly “fixes” are not in your future.

  5. Regular Check-ups and Assessments: Just as you wouldn't wait for the alarm light in your car to address an issue, regular check-ups are the foundation of a healthy life. The assessments we provide are not superficial but intended to see the beginning of future problems, prevent them as much as possible, and empower you to take proactive steps toward being well vs being sick.
Let's make 2024 a year of proactive health management, embracing a lifestyle that fosters resilience and vitality, and helping others to understand that if we work on our well-being (especially together) then we most certainly can be well.

Thank you for allowing me to be part of your Health Journey.
Wishing you a healthy and fulfilling New Year!

Warm regards,

Dr. Michael
